My TIE helmet, A front view in my backyard.

Just one more coat then I can remove the masking to see how it all turned out

I made it out of bubblegum pieces and love.

Thank you! I am told that the second coat will make it really shiny. You should see the ones that the painting-ghods around here do.

I am a mere padawan ;)

Oh wow! Did you make it or just color it? Either way, the coloring job is great.

Thank you

I lucked out this helmet is actually one of the helmets made in the 1970’s by Don Post studios

They made them for people to wear at Halloween.
Another company called Rubies makes very similar helmets for like 50-60 USD nowadays

I sanded that puppy down and did a paint job. The frown has already been cut out and painted.

I do know people who make these (they made their own molds and everything), VERY impressive

Yeah, I'm sure handcrafted stuff like that would be impossibly expensive. But still, sandpapering and painting are a bitch, so kudos to achieving both!
